There are so many ways to get started with your very first internet marketing site - what are you waiting for? Never before have there been so many options for making your own sites for free or with a paid service. It has also never been as easy, either. If you want to get started and get the ball rolling with your internet marketing website you can be up and running in virtually no time and have potential customers going to your site to make you money.

If you have the cash available you can set up your site with a hosting service. If you are not entirely tech savvy a hosting service is basically just a computer you pay to "rent" per month that resides at the company that owns it. Your website is on this computer and becomes available to the general public via the internet - it's that simple. There are many cheap solutions that are offered. You can pay $3 a month and have a great, reliable solution which you can host all of your sites off of. Search for "web hosting" and you will find what you want.

You will also need a domain if you are going to go the route of paying for your own hosting so you will need to keep this in mind. It can cost between $3 and $11 to get your domain name - or whatever else kind of domain you would like. If you are going to go with a free hosting solution you will probably not want to spend the money on a domain at this point.

The free options available are virtually unlimited. You can go with a service that hosts a website but places small ads on it (most people do not like this) or you can go with a free blog hosting service. Many people have begun to go with free blogging services like Blogger which is owned and run by Google. It is a simple blogging platform that you can customize with your own content. You can turn it into a sales page complete with order buttons and sales copy. You can even turn one into a review site if you would like and sell affiliate products rather easily. The blogging site functions as a normal website so you can edit it like one with ease.

There are a few "golden rules" to keep in mind when you go to conquer setting up your own internet marketing website. Make sure the service you are using does not display advertisements you disagree with or do not want on your page. If the ads are on your page and are not making you money don't use that service (unless you do not mind them).

If you decide to go with a paid hosting solution and domain name you will want to remember the golden rule of making your page easy on the eyes and attractive. There are many premade templates you can use to make your site appealing and you can easily add great content to them. Always remember to keep your visitor engaged and interested in what you have to say and offer.
