Why should we use our precious free time education ourselves about plus size designers? Most of the time our first reaction is to shun a big-time name on a tag, and even actively avoid labels with an industry name on it for no other reason than to assert our independence. But it's actually not that simple, and becoming familiar with and following plus size designers can actually offer you some benefit when it comes to plus size clothes shopping. And remember, not every brand has to be ridiculously costly; there are an abundance of designers out there who carry great lines at sensible prices. The scam is to locate them, which is where this article can offer some insight.

Monif C.
Also known as Monif C. she owns Monif C. Plus Sizes and puts out some really great clothing lines year in and year out. After her childhood in Brooklyn, Monif found her motivation within herself and began to design plus size clothes. Her stated aim is to provide plus size women with attractive plus size designer fashions that makes them feel chic, inspired, luxurious and sexy.

Yuliya Zeltser
After going shopping with her mother in 1997 and finding an awful lack of superior plus size designers in the business, she decided to start her own label, and IGIGI was started. Her objective is to make every woman feel sensual, feminine, secure and gorgeous. In my opinion, her lines are some of the best you'll find.

Anna Nicole
Anna Nicole runs a store with an online presence known as Jahqoi, which means "I believe" if pronounced correctly in French. Anna grew up in Detroit and claims to have begun making clothes at 12. She does her finest work with contemporary styles, and is quickly making a name for herself in the industry of plus size designers.

Meet Bek
Bek had a flourishing career in corporate America until health problems forced her to retire early from her job. To help bridge the gap in the family income, she started making jewelry and selling it on one ecommerce site called Etsy. She has been unbelievably successful, and caters to the little-known market segment of plus size jewelry. Her designs are magnificent, and focus on mid century modern design.

For me, becoming familiar with the plus size designers behind the lines is just one part of the plus size clothing familiarity, and studying their lines as they grow and change over time is exciting and thrilling. The world of plus size designers is an evolving industry, and it's getting more and more notice every day with more high-quality designers and retail space than ever before. Keep your eye on some of the new and rising talent to stay ahead of the crowd.
