There are a lot of expensive phones on the market with complicated features that kids just don’t need, but there are also easy to use cell phones with just the bare necessities. An easy to use mobile device might just have big numbers to dial and easy “send and receive”-type buttons. These are perfect for emergencies.
There are many different situations where parents would be happy to know that their kids have easy to use cell phones. If a child gets lost walking home from school, gets hurt when there aren’t any adults around, or is put into other more sinister situations, they have a better chance of getting the help they need if they have access to an easy to use cell phone.
