Surely it is a career for the open minded who like to meet new people and make contacts.

You can become food sales representative for a food company or work in the development of new foods in an institute. You can invest in further education and become a dietitian. Some chefs move into the management of restaurants or resort and this way they are still connected with culinary arts but more involved into the bigger picture of managing the business. Another exiting option is to go for a career in the media. If you have been a chef you can easily write reviews of restaurants for the local media.
