They will want to make sure the center is registered and that the staff has the proper training needed for working with children.
You can get a job in child care on a part time basis when you are still in high school. This will give you the information about this type of work that will help you decide if you want to make it a career. You should also observe experienced personnel and see how they handle special cases, such as unruly children. Taking classes leading to a certificate, along with experience, will give you a better chance of being hired.
